本作は不気味な洋館を舞台に、呪われた事件にまつわる物語を演じる2人の女優を軸にしたホラー。女優で劇作家のナオミは一夏借りた山荘で、かつて自分の夫を略奪した女優ミズキを呼び寄せ、芝居の稽古を始める。題材となるのは、ある謎めいた母親殺しの事件だった。ミズキは母親を殺した娘の役を演じるにつれて、事件が起きた場所はこの屋敷ではないかと疑い始める。
